File name composition

The project parameters (the settings for a project) include a file name composition, which defines which characters the file names of the drawing sheets should contain. The file names are composed of characters that define document codes, constants, and sheet numbers. The length of the file names is always fixed within a project, but how many characters that should be, is configurable.

The file names can be long and complex when a large number of document codes are involved. On the other hand, the file names can also be short and very simple, the simplest case being file names consisting of sheet numbers only. Everything is up to you, and the configurations that you want to use.

Details about file name configuration is found in the File names composition sub-topic of the Project Module main topic.
