Figure 582: IEC is the worlds most important standards organisation for all electro-technology.
One common way of using cadett ELSA document codes is to classify the drawing sheets according to the current IEC1355 standard. The file names will then contain letters referring to the standard, which classify the document kind, like for instance "circuit diagram" or "cabinet layout".
