Use and definition of generic connection points

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

By default, the eight available connection points have single digit connection point numbers 1 – 8. You can easily change that in the standard OnLine dialogue box.

If you do not need all generic connection points, which of course is the most common case, you can simply ignore the ones not needed. They make no harm. One simple way of expressing and clarifying this, is to set the connection point numbers of such non-existing connection points empty.
