Remove catalogue

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

You can delete a catalogue that you for one reason or another do not want to keep anymore.

You delete catalogues with the Delete catalogue… command in the Module pull-down menu.

For obvious reasons, you will receive a control question if you are sure that you want to delete the current catalogue i.e., the catalogue that is currently open. If you acknowledge the deletion, the catalogue in question will be removed from the list of available catalogues. However, no files are deleted. The database where the resources of the catalogue are stored is thus kept intact.

If you also want to delete the files that belong to the catalogue i.e., the database itself, you can do that manually using the Windows file explorer.

The catalogue database files are located in the directory \ELSA\II\KAT\<CATALOGUE_NAME> where "<CATALOGUE_NAME>” is the short name of the catalogue. Remove that entire directory including its contents if you want to erase the catalogue completely.
