If you have activated the Suffix to separate identical numbers in the same node project parameter, a suffix can be automatically generated to distinguish between two otherwise identical wire numbers in the same electrical sub-node. This suffix should for clearance sake be separated from the rest of the wire-number using a suitable separator character. Which character that should be, is configurable using the Separator character for suffix project parameter that is described here.

A recommended separator character for this purpose is a dot (“.”). The examples that are described and showed in the Suffix to separate identical numbers in the same node topic, assumes that choice.
