You select here whether the selected database file is located in the SOURCE or TARGET directory.

 

The SOURCE directory is a special case that normally does not appear other than for table of contents for the SOURCE directory only, and in some other easily counted cases. (Even for SOURCE directory table of contents, there are other better options available).

 

If the selected TARGET database is expected to be found in the TARGET directory, which of course is the most common case, you must activate that option.

 

If you want to specify a database file that is neither in the SOURCE, nor in the TARGET directory, this option does not matter.
