The situation is somewhat different for text reports with FMT forms. You can use an external program to study and print these, but you can also let the Report Generator print the report directly as it is generated. If that should be done or not is controlled by a setting in the report definition. If the report definition you use is set to print immediately, that will be done using the printer selection stored in the report definition, without further questions. Please note that printing of so-called semi-graphics takes much more time than printing plain text, since the Report Generator recomputes the semi-graphics to actual graphics that is then sent to the printer.
