Figure 71:  You can search the tree view for any character combination.

Using the search field above the tree view, you can filter the tree view to display only groups that contain a certain combination of characters. The filter is activated immediately when you type in the field. You do not need to press any buttons or similar.

In the example above, "IEC" has been typed in the search field. Therefore, only groups which contain that character combination are displayed. Two such groups exist in the example. They are named IEC1082 and IEC1346. To display them, the groups in which they are located, all the way to the top, must also be displayed. In the example, this means that Samples, and above that cadett ELSA, are also displayed.

The virtual groups named Prototype project, Unpacked revisions, and Projects in local mode, are not affected by the filter. They are always displayed.

To deactivate the filter, simply empty the search field.
