Figure 86: The "Delete project" command
The Delete project command in the detailed projects list context menu is used to delete one or many projects.
To do that, you select some projects, and then select Delete project in the context menu, as shown in the figure above.
All details about this procedure, and what happens if you regret what you have done, are described in full detail in the Delete projects topic.
In cadett ELSA R41 and older, the corresponding command could be used to remove projects from groups, to delete revisions, and to delete unpacked revisions. Those operations are done differently in the current version.
Please use the following links for descriptions of the current operations:
•Deleting an unpacked revision
As mentioned, the Delete command can also be used to delete revisions, and unpacked revisions. Revisions are a subject of their own, but in short a revision is a frozen and compressed copy of a project as it was at an earlier state. Such a revision can be deleted, which means that it can never be accessed again. A revision can also be unpacked. An unpacked revision is a copy of the project in the state it was when the revision was created. Such an unpacked revision can also be deleted. The revision itself will however be unaffected of that.
•Everything about revisions is described in a dedicated Revision Handling topic.
•Deleting revisions specifically is described in the Deleting a revision itself topic.
•Deleting unpacked revisions specifically is described in the Deleting an unpacked revision topic.
