cadett ab is marketing and developing cadett ELSA – a software for electrical design. The company was founded in 1979, which make it one of the oldest Swedish companies in this line of business.
cadett ELSA is an application for design and documentation of electrical circuit diagrams with a long history. The first version – 1.0 – was launched in 1985 in Mönchengladbach, Germany. The first Swedish version, 2.0, was brought to market in 1987. Since those days the business has been standing on two legs, one in Sweden and one in Germany. First it was as two separate companies acting in a joint venture, but since 2003 cadett ab in Sweden and cadett GmbH in Germany are parts of the same group of companies owned from Sweden.
Today cadett ab has offices in Stockholm, Sweden, and in Jülich, Germany.
