In the field named Data, the contents of the DATA attribute is presented. This was seldom used in cadett ELSA 7.5 and earlier but became much more important in version 7.7, and has remained so thereafter. The DATA attribute controls the behaviour of symbols in several important ways, but is internal in its character. It is therefore seldom a good idea for the user to edit it directly.
