Undo

Changes and additions that you make in the Drawing Manager are not immediately transferred to the drawing sheets. This has many benefits. Among other things, it provides a superior performance. Another advantage is that it makes it possible to reverse, in other words to "undo" operations, as long as you have not saved your changes.

All changes and additions that you make are highlighted on the screen. New drawing sheets are highlighted with green background colour by default, while deleted drawing sheets will be shown in red. Text changes are highlighted with red background colour in the detailed views, and with red borders in the surveys.

You use the Reorganise command to save the changes and additions that you have made.

To "undo", meaning to cancel the effect of your last change, is performed with <CTRL_Z> or by selecting the Undo command in the context menu of the survey. You can also repeat that several times after one another, to cancel the effect of several changes. This way, you can undo any number of changes, all the way back to when you last saved your changes.

Redo, meaning to cancel the effect of your last Undo, is done by typing <CTRL_Y> or by selecting the Redo command in the context menu of the survey.

Please note that you do not lose the opportunity to "undo" if you exit the Drawing Manager. When you come back the next time, the changes that you have made will still be highlighted, and you will still be able to use <CTRL_Z>, as long as you have not reorganised.
