Existing drawing sheets are converted to contemporary layers sets with contemporary colours using a simple Script Sequence in the Script Generator.

The Script Sequence is named 0FIX_LAYERS_ELSA390.

This script sequence makes sure that all layers in the current layer set exist, it creates the ones that may be missing and it adjusts the colours of all layers, both existing and new ones.

You can use this Script Sequence to update drawing sheets of both the SOURCE and TARGET directories of existing projects. You can also use the same Script Sequence to update your own drawing frames and DXF report forms, by simply applying it in the Drawing frames and DXF forms projects, both located in the System group of the Project Module tree structure. When doing so, please only select your own drawing frames and report forms.

Technical note:

In the process of doing all what is described above, a simple PURGE of blocks is performed, which eliminates unused block definitions of the first level (not blocks in blocks). In the end of the process, layers are turned on, off, thawed and frozen according to the Design Normal layer setting, which means that the adjusted drawing sheets are prepared for further design work.
