The offset specifies where on the “paper” the content should be reproduced. It could be centred in the available area, or displaced in any direction. However, in the current cadett ELSA version, only the Center option is available, which will place the content in the middle of the available area.

 

The available area, in turn, is defined by the virtual printer setting, the PDF_CADETT.PC3. There you can specify the margins. The entire “paper”, with exception of the margins, constitutes the available area.
