In the File name section, you can specify which name to use for the generated PDF file.

 

The simplest choice is to check the Short project name option. If you do, the PDF file will be named after the short project name. That will always give you a valid file name.

 

Another alternative is to deactivate the Short project name option and manually specify a file name in the field below. In that way, you can name the file anything that you like. However, please consider the file name restrictions that apply in the Drawing Manager, if you want your PDF file to be handled there.

 

More advanced options to specify the file name is also available. If you use one of those, the specification that you make here will be overridden, meaning that it will not matter. Please refer to the Advanced filename topic.
