Automatic Wire-number Adjustment Feature

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

With the Automatic Wire-number Adjustment command – called CAELWIRENOADJUST – the positions of all wire-numbers can be automatically adjusted to avoid conflicts with other attributes such as connection and terminal numbers. When the command is executed, all wire-numbers that do not conflict with other attributes are left untouched, while conflicting wire-numbers are moved long enough to avoid conflicts.

With another command – CAELWIRENOUPDATE – it is possible to move all wire-numbers back to their original standard positions.

There are four ways to access the two commands that are mentioned above and described in detail in separate sub-topics.

1.Select one of the commands in the ribbon menu. Please refer to the topic that describes the Tools panel of the Tools tab.

2.Type one of the commands CAELWIRENOADJUST or CAELWIRENOUPDATE on the command prompt.

3.Select one of the commands in the pull-down menu of the cadett ELSA Classic workspace. You will find them in the Tools pull-down menu, in a sub-menu called Wire-number adjustment.

4.Select the Adjust wire-number positions command in the Object properties toolbar, also of the cadett ELSA Classic workspace.

Both commands can be used in Script Sequences to process multiple sheets at once.

In the two sub-topics that are listed below, the two commands are described in full detail.
