What is a super project?

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

A “super project” is a container for a number of so-called sub-projects that are connected to one another and in some respects acts a one gigantic project. It is a tool intended to handle larger and more complex projects than would otherwise be practical.

Ordinary projects are turned into sub-projects by making them part of a super project.

The practical limit for the number of drawing sheets in one single project lies between 500 and 1200. Using super projects, a number of projects can be connected to one another. When they are, cross-references between the sub-projects are supported, as well as other useful functionality.

More detailed information about super projects can be found in a separate main topic named Super projects.
