cadett ELSA is available as eight different products, which are discussed below.

The product is decided during installation, and should of course reflect available licenses. However, it is possible to change the product level for each workstation at any time, using the dialogue box that is discussed here. When doing so, cadett ELSA will be restarted. When it starts again, it will look for a license of the selected type. If successful, such a license will be used. If not successful, a less powerful license will be used instead, if available. If you for instance would select cadett ELSA Professional, even though you have only bought the cadett ELSA Basic, the software will start as a cadett ELSA Basic anyway. If you do not have a license for the selection you have made, an automatic selection of the “best available” alternative will be made.

To free a license that is more advanced than you need to be used by others, you can select a less powerful license here, and then restart the software.

The eight different products which cadett ELSA is available as, are presented in the table below. One of them does not use any AutoCAD at all. Four use a conventional AutoCAD. The three others use an embedded AutoCAD named Solo eXs.
