Figure 42:  "AutoCAD profile"

Here you will find the specification of which AutoCAD profile to use when running AutoCAD from cadett ELSA. It is important to use separate profiles when running cadett ELSA and other possible AutoCAD applications or pure AutoCAD.

The default name is composed of "cadett ELSA", the drive letter of the cadett ELSA installation within parenthesis, "WS" meaning "workstation", and the current workstation code within "less than" and "greater than" characters. Please refer to the figure above.

You can either type the name of the desired profile or select it using the drop-down menu that is available to the right.

If you specify a non-existing profile, a new fresh profile with the specified name will be created automatically.

Technical note

When a new profile is created, that is done using default data specified in a file called CADELSA.DAT (AutoCAD) or CADELSA_S.DAT (Solo). That original of that file is located in the main directory of cadett ELSA. An adapted copy of that original is automatically placed in the workstation directory. Modifications are made to fit the current version of AutoCAD, the current location of the cadett ELSA installation both centrally and locally, and other similar circumstances.
