Command

Description

Move symbol

Move symbols with line break and line close functionality.

Remove symbol

Remove symbols with line close functionality.

The Remove symbols command will reconnect the lines that surround the object that is erased. It is also possible to make an object selection that comprises several symbols. The reconnecting of the lines works in that situation as well.

In many ways the Remove symbols command is more elegant than the Erase command. The reason for not relying solely on the Remove symbols command is its inability to erase lines. In fact it works the opposite way, namely to reconnects lines. Thus both the commands are needed.

Break lines

Break lines for existing symbols.

Copy symbol

Copy symbols with line break functionality.

Erase

Standard AutoCAD ERASE command (no line close functionality).

Close lines

This command closes broken lines.

If there is a gap in the lines after symbol that has been deleted the command Close lines will help you to fix that.

Close lines can close one or more lines at the same time, according to your selections. In the simplest case, two lines are merged to one. Select them both, either by picking one at a time, or by for instance using a “crossing”. The two lines will then be united to one.

When multiple lines are to be closed at the same time, for instance if there is a gap after a three-phase symbol, you must select all involved lines. The simplest way to do so, is by using the object selection alternative “crossing” over the entire gap. Six lines will then be merged to three lines and the gap disappears.

Move

Standard AutoCAD MOVE command (no line break or line close).

Copy

Standard AutoCAD COPY command (no line break).

Break

Standard AutoCAD BREAK command to split objects, like lines, in two parts.

Trim

Standard AutoCAD TRIM command to use existing objects as knifes that cut other existing objects.

Extend

Standard AutoCAD EXTEND command to use existing objects as borders to extend other existing objects towards.

Stretch

Standard AutoCAD STRETCH command to use for so-called “rubber-banding”. The only useful object selection method is Crossing. Objects entirely within the crossing will be moved as specified. Lines and similar for which only one endpoint is located within the crossing will be stretched in such a way that only the endpoint within the crossing will be moved. The other endpoint will remain in its original position.

Paste circuit

A temporary WBLOCK preferably created with the Copy circuit command, is pasted into the current drawing sheet. Automatic item designation generation and dialogue box presentation are supported.

Copy circuit

A temporary WBLOCK is created with selected objects as content.

Fillet radius 0

Standard AutoCAD FILLET 0 command used to connect two lines.

Forced connections 2.5 mm chamfering

Chamfer one line towards another for forced connection purposes. Size of chamfer: 2.5 mm.
