Cross-referenced objects

This is a very effective navigation tool, to move around within the project, following both direct and indirect references. An example is that you can click a cross-reference and immediately get to the position where it refers, regardless of in which sheet that might be.

 

Picking a cross-reference will get you to wherever it is referring. If you instead pick a symbol, a dialogue will be displayed in which you can select any of the symbols within the project that have references to the current symbol, for example all terminals within the same terminal group or all symbols, like help symbols or contact mirrors, that share the same item designation as the selected symbol. After doing that selection, the selected symbol will be zoomed, regardless of in which sheet it is located.
