This is the second out of four radio-buttons, controlling which one of four available options to use.

 

If the Add translation (fixed height) option is checked, a new text containing the translation will be added to the drawing sheet.

 

The position of the translation will be calculated with an offset from the original text specified in the x and y directions by the X and Y fields. The text height for the translation is specified in the H field. Please note that the number that you enter is interpreted as a text height in millimetres.

 

The offset is calculated for the insertion point of the text. The text justification of the inserted text (the translation) will be identical with the original text (left, right, centre or middle).

 

The inserted text will have the text style that is specified by the Text style field, and it will be placed in the layer specified by the Layer field.

 

If the Text style field is left empty, the text style of the original text will be used.

 

In the same way, if the Layer field is left empty, the layer of the original text will be used.

 

When the text style is concerned, please note that a Unicode font might be needed, dependent on which language you are translating to.
