DXF reports are normally placed in the TARGET directory of the current project. To make them accessible from the Drawing Manager, you are required to collect them there.
 
To avoid having to remember to do so, you can leave that detail to the Report Generator. If you enable this feature, the Report Generator will kindly but firmly prompt the Drawing Manager to perform a collect in the directory in which the report was created, when this is complete. In this way, the report is collected and ready when you activate the Drawing Manager to view the results. (Within parentheses it can be mentioned that the Report Generator uses ActiveX to talk to the Drawing Manager, but you may have already guessed that).
