Reinitialise and reread mask file

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

Which mask that should be used for a project is specified in the project parameters separately for the SOURCE and TARGET directories. The mask in turn points to a mask file stored centrally in the \ELSA\I\ZV\MASKEN or equivalent directory.

The first time the Drawing Manager is started in a newly created project, the specified central mask files are copied to the SOURCE and TARGET directories of the project. From these copies and the central SYSMSK.DBF (in \ELSA\SYSTEM or equivalent) the *M.DBF database files are created, which in turn controls the Drawing Manager.

Reinitialising *M.DBF from the MSK files in the project is discussed in the Reinitialise sub-topic.

Rereading the central MSK files is discussed in the Reread sub-topic.

Details about MSK files in general are discussed in the Drawing frame and mask topic.
