Type of Potential reference

The Type of Potential reference setting deals primarily with the situation where there are more than two potential reference symbols within a potential, for example when three or more sheets are involved.

 

There are two options available. They are:

 

Chain reference (both types allowed)

Source reference (only)

The discussion in the two sub-topics that are referred above, is made under the assumption that potential references are used only between sheets, and never within the same drawing sheet. Potential references can, however, also be used within drawing sheets. That function is controlled by a separate project parameter: Potential references within the same sheet.
