Remove objects from an option

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

If you - for one reason or the other - want to remove objects from an option, you can do that using the same command that was used to add them in the first place.

Removing objects from an option in this sense, means that certain objects are removed from an option and turned into “ordinary objects” that do not belong to any option.

1.Start by selecting the Add/remove objects command in the menus (or typing CAELOPTIONSOBJECTS).

2.In the Current options list, choose the option that you want to remove objects from.

3.Click the Remove objects button.

4.Select the objects that you want to remove from the selected option. Confirm the object selection with the <RETURN> key in the ordinary manner.

Please note that if you select any objects that do not belong to the chosen option, those objects are not affected at all. Only selected objects from the chosen option are affected.

5.This brings you back to the Option contents Dialogue Box, and the result is visible immediately, even before you exit the dialogue box with the Ok button.

6.Please note that you can continue to remove objects from other options as well, without exiting the Option contents Dialogue Box.
