Cancel button in Symbol data dialogue

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

At no surprise, the Cancel button is used to cancel the ongoing operation.

Changes that you have made in the dialogue box will be discarded. However, if you have defined and inserted connection points or functions (contacts), those will still be left, even if you click Cancel.

If you entered the Symbol data dialogue using the 1. New... command, Cancel will exit the dialogue without inserting the Symbol object that you would have inserted if you used the OK button to exit the dialogue instead.

If you entered the Symbol data dialogue by double-clicking a Symbol object, you will also exit the dialogue, and find yourself in the same state as you were in before double-clicking.
