It is easy to modify existing local report definitions (those with blue icons). Open the report definition and make the desired modifications under the Settings 1 and Settings 2 tabs. When you exit the Report Generator, select another tab, or open another report definition, you will be asked whether you wish to save the changes made. Answer that question with Yes.

 

You may also save the report definition whenever you want to. That is done from the File pull-down menu. Select Save. If no changes have been made to the current report definition, Save is greyed out.
