Device list summarized by plant and location (0X_E_EPB005)

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

In a device list summarized by plant and location there will be one line for each unique combination of device, location and plant. Each line will have a quantity column. There will be no column for item designation.

A device list of this kind may be regarded as an ordering list separate for an individual combination of plant and location. This is useful if location is regarded as a sub-level of plant, not if plant and location are regarded as independent aspects that may cross each other randomly.

If you have for instance 5 devices of the same type within the same combination of plant and location, but with different item designations, they will be presented in one single line with “5” in the quantity column.

The information comes from the *2.DBF TARGET database, which has a relation to *G.DBF.

A filter where !SUMTYPE (or !ANTALSTYP) must be equal to AUO ensures that this very type of device list is generated.

The report is sorted on plant, location, supplier and ordering number, in that order. Page break is performed for plant and location. Line break is performed for supplier.

Note

AUO is short for “Anlage Und Ort”, which is German for “plant and location” ("plant" meaning "function").
