Five standard properties are defined for each wire in cadett ELSA. They are:

 

Wire number

Dimension

Colour

Node name

Signal/potential name (potential reference name)

 

For dimension and colour, you can define default values here, which will be used when no specification is made in the circuit diagrams.

 

The three other properties do not have such "global" default values, which is quite obvious if you consider what those properties really stand for. For wires where wire number, node name or signal name have not been specified, those properties are simply considered not having any values.

 

The two default values that you can specify are stored in one project parameter each. Below, those parameters are listed with links to separate sub-topics describing them in full detail.
