Spare terminals

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

The terminal list shows both terminals that are defined in the circuit diagram, and terminals which are not, so-called spare terminals. Spare terminals are calculated using the assignment of numbering algorithms to terminal groups, which exists in every project, and which is part of the project parameters. In that assignment, it is defined how many terminals each terminal group contains, and which numbering series should be used for the numbering of them. When this information is combined with the terminals that are found in the circuit diagram, it becomes clear which spare terminals that exist. These are presented as unconnected in the terminal list.
