To enable Option Handling in a project, the project parameters must be adopted slightly as shown in the picture below.

In the Drawing manager 2 tab of the project parameters, an addition must be made in the Logical (electrical) layers section.
•OPT_A_* must be specified as electrical layers.
This means that all layers with names beginning with “OPT_A_” are regarded as electrical.
If this setting is missing or incorrect, an error message will be displayed when using any Option Handling commands in the Drawing Environment.
