Zoom Dynamic is an old and popular method to get a quick survey and a quick zooming. The entire drawing sheet is displayed and a rectangle marks the present zoom position. By using the mouse and moving the little rectangle, you can pan.

 

Click the left mouse-button and drag with the mouse if you want to change the size of the little rectangle, thus defining how much you want to zoom.

 

When you are satisfied with the size of the window, click again with the left mouse-button. Then move the window so it marks the part of the drawing sheet that you wish to zoom.

 

Perform the zoom by clicking the right mouse-button or pressing <RETURN>.
