The translation filter defines what should be translated and what should not. The filter consists of a number of filter conditions, specified in individual lines.
Since the major upgrade in cadett ELSA R34, the sequence of the filter conditions is significant. The filter conditions are processed from top down, all the time based on the result of previous conditions. This gives a much larger degree of freedom to design suitable filters, than before.
To modify the filter, you can add filter conditions with the New button, delete them with the Delete button, change them directly or move them up or down using the arrow buttons on the right hand side.
The filter conditions are divided in five columns, which are described in short of the table below. More extensive explanations are found in the sub-topics that are listed below the table.

Refers to the name of the attribute (the tag name). For a text object, the attribute name is always empty, regardless of whether it is contained in a block or not. |

Refers to the text content of the text object or the attribute. |
