21.1. What a sub-circuit really is and how to create one

Sub-circuits are assemblies of primarily symbols and lines that composes a frequently used part of a circuit diagram, like for instance a motor circuit or any other part of cadett ELSA drawing sheets, including cabinet layouts or other types of documents.

 

Sub-circuits are created using the Symbol Generator. A complete documentation of how that is done, can be found in chapter 6 of the cadett ELSA R31 New Features Guide.
