Here you may enter the names of completed files, including filetype but excluding path. Concerning report definitions with non-endless FMT forms, the entered filename is interpreted literally. A suitable filename may therefore be REPORT.TXT, for example.
 
Concerning report definitions with endless FMT forms, several files are created, more precisely one for each page break. A counting number is added at the end. If the total number of characters in the filename, after the counting number is added, exceeds the filename length that is defined by the project parameters, character by character from right to left starting in the position closest to the left of the counting number, will be removed until the number of characters is the one that it should have, according to the settings for the project.

 
The counting number is always composed of the least number of digits possible, for example “1”, “2”, “3” etc. A recommended filename is for example TA______.TXT. It is recommended to always use the same number of characters, to avoid filenames with different lengths, which in turn may produce unwanted disorder among the files.
 
Concerning DXF reports, the files are created roughly the same way as for endless FMT reports. One difference is that one file is created for each drawing sheet. Additionally, all counting numbers have a fixed number of digits corresponding to the project parameter settings for the current project. (The counting number is here interpreted as the sheet number for the reports in question). If three-digit sheet numbers are used, the counting numbers could be for example “001”, “002”, “003” etc. An appropriate filename specification may for example be TA______.DXF.
