If this option is not activated, a device list will be displayed.

 

On the other hand, If you do activate the Symbol list option, the device list will be replaced with a list of symbols in the project. The PDS filter and the selected Type of item designation controls which ones to display.

 

The Symbol list is extended in relation to a conventional device list in order to facilitate editing. Hence, help symbols with indexes are displayed separately, in the same way as in Dynamic OnLine I.

 

•In the Symbol list, potential references are displayed but Catalogue data are not.

•In the Device list, it is the other way around. Potential references are not displayed, but Catalogue data are.
