Zoom Realtime |
The Zoom Realtime command allows zooming in and out in real-time. Select this command and press the left mouse button and drag the mouse upwards and downwards to zoom in and out. Interrupt the zooming by clicking the right mouse button and select Exit or press the <ESC> button.
|
Zoom Window |
Zoom Window means that you select the command, pick one point and thereafter an opposite point. The two points then creates a window that is zoomed to cover the entire screen. Before the age of the mouse-wheel, this was maybe the most common and effective way to zoom in.
Please note that the relationship between height and width of the window should be approximately the same as for the screen itself. Otherwise the result of your zooming might be somewhat surprising to you.
|
Zoom Previous |
Zoom Previous means that you with this command return to the previous zoom position. If you for instance zoom in, the Zoom Previous command will get you back to the earlier position, i.e. you will be zooming out again.
|
Zoom All |
This command zoom the entire drawing sheet.
|
Zoom Extents |
This command zooms all there is in the drawing sheet.
In many cases Zoom All and Zoom Extents give the exact same result. This is however not the case if the drawing frame is missing. In that case Zoom All will zoom to the limits of the drawing, which normally means where the drawing frame would have been placed if you had one. Zoom Extents, on the other hand, is zooming only the content that actually is present in the drawing sheet.
|
Zoom Scale |
Zoom Scale gives you a possibility to specify a scale factor for zooming in or out around the centre of the screen.
|
Zoom Center |
Zoom Centre means that you specify a centre point for the zooming and thereafter a scale or a height.
