By default, bookmarks containing the filenames of the drawing sheets are automatically added to the generated PDF files. However, both the Script Generator, and the QuickPDF feature, supports configurable bookmarks. Using that feature, the bookmarks may contain other information, that might be more user-friendly than the filenames.

Two things are required to obtain such user defined bookmarks:
1.A configuration file - a so-called "bookmark setting" - must be created, and available for the current project.
2.The bookmark setting feature must be activated.
A bookmark setting is stored in an INI file called BMSETTINGS.INI. That file is typically stored by project, and is then placed in the SOURCE directory of the project in question.
It is also possible to place such a configuration file in the main directory of cadett ELSA. That configuration will then serve as default for the feature, meaning that for projects without a BMSETTINGS.INI in the SOURCE directory, the default will be used instead.
All details about how you create and maintain bookmark settings are described in a separate topic named Configurable bookmarks in PDF files.
For the QuickPDF feature, you activate the use of bookmark settings with the check-box in the Bookmarks section of the Hyperlinks tab, as shown in the figure above.
The figure below, shows an example of user defined bookmarks in a PDF file.
