The Block Handling panel does not have a slide-out panel. All commands are directly visible and explained in the table below.

Command

Description

Block

The standard AutoCAD BLOCK command. Not needed in most cases within cadett ELSA.

Wblock

The cadett ELSA modified WBLOCK command, used to create wblocks of selected or otherwise specified objects.

Insert

The cadett ELSA modified INSERT command, used to insert arbitrary cadett ELSA symbols or other blocks/wblocks.

Attribute definition

The standard AutoCAD ATTDEF command, used to create attribute definitions. Normally not needed in cadett ELSA.

Redefine attributes

This is an additional AutoCAD feature command called ATTREDEF.

It redefines a block and updates associated attributes.

New attributes assigned to existing block references use their default values. Old attributes in the new block definition retain their old values. Any old attributes that are not included in the new block definition are deleted.

ATTREDEF removes any manually made format or property changes.

Bind…

The standard AutoCAD XBIND command, used to add xref-dependent named objects (such as blocks, dimension styles, layers, line types, and text styles) to the current drawing sheet.
