The Undo feature

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

Changes and additions that you make to the catalogue are not immediately saved to the central database. This has many benefits. Among other things, it results in superior performance. Another advantage is that it will be possible to reverse actions, to do “undo” operations, if you have not saved your changes to the database.

All changes and additions you make are highlighted on the screen. The default selection is green background for new resources, red background for deleted resources and a red frame around any other changes.

The Reorganize button saves the changes and additions you have made to the catalogue database.

To “Undo” i.e., to cancel the effect of the last change you made, is performed with <CTRL_Z>. You can also repeat this several times after one another, to cancel the effect of several changes. This way, you can go all the way back to when you started the catalogue or when you last saved your changes.

"Redo" i.e., to cancel the effect of the last “undo”, is done with <CTRL_Y>.
